@isaac: Yeah, we are filled with sympathy, empathy and kindness at your fate.

However, we will continue to ignore you just the same.

@S33D: man, i need whole lotta aid, so it made sense to me to apply to those colleges where I could be awarded as such. As I said I can only afford around 2000$ per year, so I could not feel safe aplying to 8-9 colls.

And, the fact that the colleges that provide this type of enormous aid are mostly reaches to even those who pay the whole amount, I beleive my strategy of applying more compliments my situation. The more colleges, the more option I have (coz I need lot of aid)

...and, the fact that it was fairly inexpensive also prompted me...imagine a total appllication charge of about 5 $ getting you into colleges that cost 48000$ per year...haha

but beleive me guys, applying to these many colleges mean, more work to do...though the basis of a WHY essay is the same, I had to do some homework to add individual touch and interest for each of the colleges...

till now accepted by 3 (2 of these haven't disclosed aid info, one didn;t give any aid), rejected by 3...let's see where I'll end up

I applied to all my colleges with a fee waiver from school. They all granted it to me But I did send only official scores from Collegeboard.

I see that I am catching the green smile illness too
