To all who used the barron vocab list: Will memorizing the barron's 3500 list mean that i'll know all the words used in any sat?

@ jhl: No, it does not mean that you are automatically able to recognize any SAT word. But it means that you have mastered an ample portion of SAT words, and that can increase your points so much.

@ ajayc: I was just about to comment on why we don't see you anymore. We miss you ajay..

NOT!

How about easily finishing 90% of the sentence completions without a hitch- armed with the 3500 words?

jhl, fyi, i didn't read the 3500 words and I'm pretty sure that I got all the sentence completions questions correct on my SAT.

ajayc we miss you! how's the SAT prep going? starting to get nervous?
you'll do fine!!

yes, i'm talking about facebook panos.

nadiu doesn't show up anymore too. probably she's looked in her basement and studying for the Math IIC because she tries desperately to surpass me on the june sat

haha no it's cool! just kidding. look at my compass, i'm pretty liberal as well.

lool this is hilarious:

"Hi.
this may sound like a weird question, but: are you the same person on my MSN contact list? LOL.. from CC? ...you have the same email lol.
the reason I'm asking is 'cause I kinda thought you were a girl lmao!...and your picture says otherwise."

panos, apparently your style of writing is too feminine!

Rister, you need not read the 3500 because you're not good enough.. Anyone who wasnt good enough initially but then ace the sentence completion section with the list?

Yes, I'm considering Amherst, Haverford, Swarthmore and Bowdoin at this stage.
Oberlin is too artsy for me, sorry

jhl, I'm sorry, I actually wanted to point out that you can ace the sentence completion without learning 3500 words. I'm not good with English vocab but believe me, it's better if you try to learn the roots, strategies etc. than the 3500 words. I mean, of course, if you have plenty of time, go ahead
