admitted to USC and the film school there! It's been a week, and I still can't believe it...

Unfortunately not, which is why I don't know yet if I will go. My parents are very supportive, though.
The alternative would be computer science at the ETH

Seriously, I know it's a really hard decision. US colleges are so expensive compared to ETH, Uni ZH, etc.

My parents are very supportive too, even though I'm almost a bit ashamed to ask them for so much money. But they are thrilled that iIwas accepted to some great US colleges so I think I'll go there.
In the words of Benjamin Franklin, the founder of my soon-to-be-alma mater:

"An investment in education pays the best interest."

(penn actually printed that quote on the brochure "How to pay for a Penn education".. haha, it definitely made my day)
