That's nice
I can't wait for freezing winters either!

Me > wasting time whole day, studying for APs, obsessing over Michigan.

Hehe.. are you using all those Barron's books and all? I just read 1 book and got a 1970, so I highly recommend you get that book..it's a pretty fun book too.. + solving those sample tests from the blue book = 2200 atleast for you I was too lazy to solve practice tests

That sounds really nice S33D- I deicded on Carleton over Emory also on the prestige grounds since i too will be going to grad school and the college experience at carleton is way better then Emory.
Carleton doesn't have too many alumni connections which Emory has but that doesn't matter when you have grad school in mind,.
i'll be spending winters in boston too. Minneapolis is around 2 hours non stop from Boston.

I have absolutely nothing to do- no AP tests , no entrances absolutely nothing. Its nice cause i can complete my sleep obsession of 12 hours/day right now but i guess it will wear of after this month.
But i need to start doing some 'productive' things too!

Yup exactly. The whole picture changes when you are going to grad school for sure I am probably gonna come to Minneapolis first in August with my friend who is at UM, see how cold it actually is (whenever I call him he is shivering ) then leave for Sackville. Is Carleton in Minneapolis itself or somewhere close by?

Are you guys gonna travel heavy or light? I am thinking of shipping most of my stuff directly to the uni and travelling with just 2 bags.. I don't know how expensive that is gonna be though.

@tetris: up your score is awesome.

S33D,

Not fair to compare your canadian college to williams, at least not w/r/t number of Rhodes, since Canada has its own, and the competition is, I suspect, a bit less rough, no?

I was not "comparing" in that sense, just putting it in perspective. But yes, the competition must be much less.

Carleton is a 45 minute drive from Minneapolis. I am spending August in boston and will arrive at carleton for their weeklong international student orientation starting september 3. The term starts from 15th september and all other freshmen arrive on the 10th.

how much stuff do you have sid that you need to ship it?
all i am taking are clothes and since i'll be doing my winter shopping there itself, I think all the clothes plus other stuff i want to take will come into 2 large suitcases.
