Hmm, actually I dunno how much stuff it'll be.. just clothes and stuff only.. I just assumed since I'll be away for a year it'll be a lot

LOL!

I remember that Cornell electronic notice...the exact same letter came in the mail afterwards! JHU too.
Tufts was just yuck. Horrible. The most unsympathetic, disgusting letter I've ever had the displeasure of reading

I totally agree with you about the Tufts letter. ridiculous.

the one from Stanford was pretty kind but somehow a bit weird. one part was like "Rister, you're a good student with solid support from your teachers"...this sounded like my recs were ok but the rest of the app sucked :s but apparently everybody got this one.

tetris, I recommend the Bluebook and no other for SAT 1. The PR book is the worst of the lot.
For SAT 2s, I recommend Barrons.
