@ bocca
jacobs does waitlist students from round to round. two colleagues of mine got waitlisted or deferred from round 1 to round 2. don't know what happened to their applications at this point.

@pacific34
I will attending a college in the US. haven't made up my mind though on which one...

guys, its gr8 time for us, Nepalese. Let us hope this CA poll will motivate our leaders and us to work hand in hand for development of Nepal....

Those who have applied to Antioch College, I have a bad news. I was sent an email from the college (I hadn't applied there but had emailed them sometime in the past). It said:

"We are sorry to inform you that the Antioch University Board of Trustees has reaffirmed its decision to suspend operations of Antioch College as of July 1, 2008. "

I didn't know colleges could be closed on such short notice. I hope other US colleges don't do the same.

The decisions posted in the website have no international students at all(except 3, all of whom applied from American schools abroad).
I doubt that they have notified intls of their decisions. A Sewanee admissions officer had once told me they would be mailing their decisions early April. Perhaps the next time we check our post boxes, their decision should be there.
Does anyone know when Hulak reopens?

What will be the new name for Kingdom of Nepal??

1. People's Republic of Nepal
2. Federal Republic of Nepal
3. Democratic Federation of Nepal
4. Federated states of Nepal (this doesn't suit good)

I think "Nepal" is just fine. The way I look at it, those added adjectives can only harm. For example:
1. People's Republic of China
2. Democratic Republic of Korea. (not sure if this is 100% correct, but its something like this)

Sewanee : University of the South

I do agree with bocca. I also think that Sewanee is yet to inform international students and the decisions posted on their website is only for us students. I mailed them on 4th april and here's the reply

Dear ..... :

Applications are being read, and we expect to mail decision letters around
April 10th.

Thank you for your inquiry.

its already 10th...so keep your fingers crossed people...anytime now

this is my last chance of getting into a good college..i will probably be rejected but still hoping for the best.

May all you deserving candidates with zero acceptance get in. Don't lose hope...just remember-when you think all is over...the future remains

ALL THE BEST TO ALL
