Thanks manasm. I wonder how I'll fare in the placement tests, can't remember a thing.

Is there anyone else for whom the Meningococcal vaccine is only recommended and not required? And anyone else who thinks revising for your placement tests would be a good idea? Or just write what you know and be placed in a class full of dumb jocks?

Yeah, right in the orientation itself. There's a swimming test too.

You guys are talking about online placement tests, I've got an OFFLINE one.
I'm supposed to solve the questions and write the answers in an answer sheet that they have provided with a time limit of 3 hrs.

@ extinction, it's meningococal not meningococus... It's against meningococal disease caused by meningococal bacteria which affects your brain and spinal cord.

I think meningococcal vaccine is a must for students staying in dormitories.. I have already taken it, and yes, it is only a single dose vaccine.

Hey, its urgent. somebody please help me!
Do we have to write an application letter to the visa interviewer at the embassy when we go for the interview? I had never heard of such a thing before, but Pokhara is a place of rumors you see.. so I'm utterly confused!

@bocca:

There is no vaccine for TB except the BCG which you have already taken. And as you said, the injection they give now is for a skin test. you have to wait for 48-72 hrs after taking the injection and then they give you a report that confirms whether you are TB negative or positive. TB negative tells you tht you dont have the TB.
