^ Yup, I was a recruited athlete; which means that I would've been on the team if I was accepted. Too bad it didn't happen. Well, that's what you get when you expect ~$40,000 in FA in a need aware school.

Need aware = The college is aware of your need, but they don't want to meet it.

^ I was recruited, but I also applied for a lot of aid. My coach did tell me that he had supported my application, but UChicago takes only about 15 Internationals who apply for aid.

^ That's the case at all top need aware schools in the US; you'd be lucky to get in with aid.
