My parents offered to pay for UCLA. I did not reject it because I wasn't getting aid. I liked Oberlin better.

Lol, I'm not surprised. UCLA is a bit expensive for out of state'ers. Even if your parents were going to pay it probably wouldn't be a smart move to pay $45k+ a year since you weren't good enough for aid..

What's with this thread and rudeness? I wasn't not good enough for aid - UCLA doesn't give money to international students. And I didn't choose UCLA because of the FIT.

What's with this thread and rudeness? Why don't you figure it out for yourself. Now I'm not a regular poster here so I don't know what the standards are but when you reply to my post about UCLA with this:
