to simbelmyne. haha, i liked your explanation of NanJing, one of my friends is actually from there. I heard the weather is quite unpleasantly humid/hot. haha

USC-accepted w/ Trustee (full tuition)
SMU-w/ full ride
UTAustin-both Honors in Dean Scholar/Engineering
Texas A&M-honors w/ almost full ride
Rice-waitlist
Duke-rejected (applied with aid...poo poo...was my 1st choice)

still waiting on 2 schools, but not expecting good news. =/

and I'm from China, but living in US

MIT - Rejected. (I'm still bitter because of it :s)
Caltech Rejected. (and for this one too)
DePauw. Accepted, Scholarship (30k)
Northeastern. Accepted (no aid?)

Lafayette- Accepted(haven't heard about financial aid yet)
Macalester- Accepted(same as above)
Lehigh- (great financial aid package,but prolly cuz i fall under American applicant
Northwestern- rejected(not too upset,it was a reach...plus im happy with the acceptances i already got)
Smith- Waitlisted

somebody tell me if you found out how much aid you got at lafayette. How did you find out..Was it in the email or the admission package or separate?

to SChi and Freeverse

I got my admission from SMU (Southern Methodist Univ, just to clear confusions) almost a month ago. I'm positive that both the Hunt and the President's Scholar (the one i got) have been chosen already. I don't know about the rest of admission.

I do live like 30 minutes away from it. Maybe that made a difference?
