I'm an american living overseas, whatever I count as international :P

Accepted : utah, boulder, MSU, toronto

Rejected : Austin

Waiting : Berkeley, Ann Arbor(deferred)




Friends from school

-2360 SAt 1, 800/800/800 math/chem/phys sat 2's, 4.0 UW--> rejected MIT/Caltech

-2330 sat 1, 800/800/780 chem/bio/math2, 4.0 UW--> rejected Rice, waitlisted Duke

both indians.

Edit: and a 1960 sat 1, 720/700 lit/math1 , 3..7 UW--> accepted Yale

My stats: 2300 SAT, 800/800/800 math/phy/chem SAT2 --> rejected Swarthmore, Dickinson, Lafayette, Oberlin.

jeez i'm practically freezin' over those stat counts... i guess stats are surely a factor, but maybe overrated
my stats: SAT1 2090(prepared in a month along with the essay flood...crazy January), TOEFL 115, no SAT2
update:
Kalamazoo, Earlham --> In (no word about FA though)
so far no rejections, since i didnt apply to many top-notch schools (of course carleton, colgate & colby come out this week so... :-S) good luck everyone

to lulupony: haha that's great, though Nanjing's not all that humid. i'm enjoying this spring!
the rain usually comes in late June, but after a week or two we're just fine. it is pretty hot here in the summer though, but no more than Shanghai or Beijing I guess...
