LSE or Georgetown?

MSc Management and Stragedy or Georgetown Masters in Social and Public Policy? Which would seem like a better deal?

Which school has a better international reputation? Which one can I be sage to travel with if I ever want to skip town ( or the country) and settle in a nation abroad?

LSE has a better international reputation, as far as I know.

LSE does have a ridiculous international reputation, and is seen as the best of the best though this is debatable.

^ very goodpoint Texassoccer84. I never thought about that. From talking to most people from the Middle East and Latin America, they held Georgetown in extremely high esteem something that isn't common amongst european countries. I would assume- I am no means perfectly correct- that LSE is reputable in Europe, Middle East and Asia but not so much in Latin America and Georgetown is reputable in ME, Asia, LAmerica and somewhat in Europe. But to be sincere both are very good schools.

I would suggest though you pick LSE for grad school. I am in love with LSE. Did you get financial aid from either schools?

As I know it, LSE's reputation is more prevalent than that of Georgetown pretty much anywhere in the world

From Georgetown, yes, but from LSE, no. I wish. LSE is mainly going to paid out of my pocket and a couple of student loans/grants. I think I can snag a scholarship or two but thats about it.

But either way I am going to be paying out the wallet so that is why I am trying to choose the right program. I have heard that Georgetown is really respected in the Middle East. I think this is due to the fact that a lot of diplomats send their kids there and a lot of diplomats from that region are alumni. I haven't heard of Georgetown being popular in Latin America but then again I have never heard anything about LSE either.

Honestly, I am the least qualified to judge these matters because my experience abroad extends to Mexico, the border of Canada, and Paris. So even though I have two reputable schools to choose from, which one is more reputable anywhere I land?

I would say take Georgetown then. LSE is cool and everything but London is freaking expensive. Those loans are going to be painful in the future and life is so short..why spend a large part of it paying back loans. And just imagine, you won't have to worry much about money while you are at school.

Yep, go to Georgetown and enjoy yourself due to the money issue.
Surely LSE has better reputation but reputation is not everything. I am sure the social life at Georgetown is better LSE
BTW, where do you want to live later and do you plan to go to grad school?
