What about for international students trying to transfer? Is it gonna be easier or even harder than US students? I'm a chem engineering major with 3.0...
I don’t know if it’s going to be harder for you to transfer. It will depend on the school. Actually, some American colleges will make you apply as a freshman if you are coming from a foreign university
It is generally harder to get into top schools (i.e. HYPSM) compared to residents (i.e. American or PR) whether you want FA or not. At S and other non-need blind schools, it is going to be even harder with FA.
If this is true: "Actually I go to a boarding school in the northeast" then why on earth are you asking here at cc instead of in your boarding school's guidance office? They've been dealing with students with your precise profile since before the dawn of time and know exactly where you can expect to be admitted. Stroll down the hall, and ask them!
OK heres the thing, schools guidance office dont always provide you with the best, or sometimes even the right information, so asking around for additiona infos always help.
lol. that shouldn't be true for undergrats. Check out Princeton current student profile , you will see only one international student.
That should be different for graduate studies tho.
Sorry to break it to you, but you will be read with the New England pile of applications. We're from France, but my sister chose to go to one of the Phillips prep schools, and WAS NOT considered an international applicant. It's not the address of the school you attend, not however many pied-a-terres you have.
