I intend to apply to UCLA or another comparable university next year. Is it possible to get a scholarship as an International undergraduate?

Some colleges award scholarships or need-based financial aid to international students, but I am not aware of UCLA being one of them.

For undergraduates, I can only think of the Regents scholarship for UCLA.

UCLA doesnt seem to be very generous when it comes down to giving FinAid to Internationals...especially not to ones who are not coming from a third world country. Do you have a slight idea what major you are interested in? I have already worked my way through FinAid offers of most of the Colleges, although I focused on New England rather than on the Westcoast.But College selection shouldnt be a hip hop war anyway.
If you only consider colleges on the westcoast, try Pomona. They offer Need-Based FinAid for Internationals (although they dont seem to be generous either :-) )

In general small colleges seem to be more generous with financial aid for internationals than big universities. Large universities may offer a few partial scholarships but it usually ends there. Some smaller colleges go up all the way to tuition, room & board and living expenses. Here is a list of colleges who give financial aid of some sort to at least 15 international students: eduPASS | Financial Aid for International Students | Schools with Aid for Undergraduates Notice that none of the UCs appears in it - I am not sure if the list is exhaustive though.

At this point it would be really helpful if you could answer us two questions: Could you afford UCLA without scholarships if you had to (are scholarship absolutely essential in your college search process or would they just be a nice extra?), and would you consider smaller colleges as well?

Indeed, I'm looking for a university being ranked well enough to go there instead of universities like Rotterdam Management School, King's College or Cass Business School. If you read between the lines, you remark that I'm focussed on Business Administration.
I could (!!!) afford the tution fee for Internationals at UCLA but in this case I would be heavily indebted (excluding the living costs in L.A....)
