| Just to shed some light on the 'which UK schools should be included' debate.
Obviously you have to include Cambridge, Oxford, LSE and Imperial. But you also have to include Warwick, for the following reasons;
a) It is ranked above UCL in terms of research assessment (according to the government rankings of research excellence)
b) The 2008 UK University rankings show that it is consistently ranked amongst the top5/6 universities (incidently finishing above UCL in ALL)
c) as pointed out previously, it has NEVER dropped out of the top 10 - one of only 5 UK universities.
d) It has gained a brilliant academic reputation in only 40 years - it has taken places like St Andrews centuries
e) Graduate recruitment firms (such as the leading investment banks) see it as a target school alongside only 5 other UK universities (Ox, Cam, LSE, Imp, War, UCL) |
