You've just done it. Congrats!
Don't worry now, coz you're going to have a hard time finding any posters for the first few months, then you'll have them in droves. Just look at the initial posting history of the Class of 2012 from Nepal thread.

@ dainferno... well, I was in a similar situation as you are now in. So, my only suggestion to you is to plan your actions and most importantly, your time wisely coz come this fall, you'll be in short supply for time... As for you SAT Reasoning, I advise you to give your best shot in October date because after that I doubt you'll have time to give it again as You'll need to face A-levels exam in Nov.. While in Dec you'll need to face SAT II. And sadly, Jan 1 is the Application deadline for most top colleges... though, Jan. test Date could also would work but you'll be in a real dilemma to whether improve your SAT I score or SAT II ....so, buckle up n start hitting those books, use time wisely... I know I sound like your mom but trust me, some of my friends messed in these crucial times and though they were exemplary students they couldn't do well and are deeply regretting now... As for applying to colleges.... APPLY EARLY DECISION I/II.... it'll improve your chance a lot ....all the best ...

@ imshrestha..thnx.
A level xams should not trouble me that much coz I was completely prepared to sit for it this may/june..but due to some personal problems I had to quit..so few hours a day should b enough for my course study..regarding SAT reasoning test, my compsite score of last year (Nov 007) is just 1380(CR:640,Maths:740)..I m certainly gonna score a lot higher than this...
regarding ED, gettin into a college through ED is my only way out coz my college rank and internal grades till date are my major plus points...and since now I ll have to take xams frm BC, I wont have any rank and I ve heard almost all of the good colleges ask for your final rank...thats my major problem for RD..for ED, my final results wont be required.

tox!c..I dont know much about personal essays..I ve read some essays that got ppl into colleges like Willams, Reed, Grinell and so on..and I found all of those essays so much stereotypical. In some of those essays, ppl are struggling to prove that they are the real nerds. In one of the essays I read, the writer writes about his eperience of singing on stage and he makes his essay sound so much philosophical that it makes that essay completely ridiculous..but the worst part is that the same essay worked for Brown!!

haha. Essay is the key that determines whether you'll get accepted or not in higly competitive colls. I thinkl I messed that up, and had tons of rejections in my inbox. No hard feelings though. Win like a man, lose like a man.
