Hi St George
I am not sure exactly whether I'll be a 2012 or 2013er - it depends on how much credit Dartmouth gives me for the classes I have already taken at university. I think I'll be a 2012er though.
Yay!

Thanks for the congratulations guys!
I actually graduated in 2006. I am a bit of a slow starter. I did a gap year in 2007 and then started uni in March last year. I will have done 1.5 years of university before starting at Dartmouth.
Being a transfer student is going to be interesting. I would really encourage those thinking of applying to do so. It's a ton of work but entirely worth it! Any questions about transferring, ask me!

Wow, haven't been on here in aaaggeeesss! lol. Or it just feels that way...
Discovered today there were two kids in my class also serious about applying to the US (one is transferring to boarding school in NY to finish yr 11 and 12). Strangely, that didn't comfort me. Just made me feel....common? lol, idk. Was kinda happy I was the only one from my school (supposedly) going to the States. I sound childish... o.O

Anyway, thanks for offering to sell me your books Huanberg.Izzy! I'll get back to you and I REALLY hope you do great!! Believe in yourself, yadda yadda yadda... Watch Mad about Mambo. You get it

xx

@Carpe-diem: wow is that person going to a prep boarding school? That's awesome!! I seriously wish i could apply for year 11 and 12 there but i'm already a year ahead of most of my peers, i can't really repeat year 11 if i go to the states.
Haha and i know how that feels thinking you're the only one thinking of going overseas. If you go to a competitive private school its probably much more likely you'll find someone who does too. Funny I was talking to some friends today about going to US for uni and their reponse were like 'are you crazy?' lol. If i meet someone who has US thoughts i would happily chat on about it and all the details about SAT,etc.

@Ruby: Omg, I know! lol. I was standing there all sulky like... no fair Though I was thinking more about the fact that he was going to NY and not a prep boarding school :P Though the latter is tres` cool as well Um.. do you have MSN by any chance? It would be totally cool to talk to another Aussie eleventh-grader with in'tl ambitions.
And don't worry about the crazy comment. In fact, get used to it 'cause you'll get it. A lot. lol.

Well, that's me for the night. Byeee
