| hey
I'm planning on applying to McGill, Dal, UBC, Queen's, and probably a couple international schools (Harvard, Oxford, etc...).
I'll probably be going into poli sci or something else in the social sciences.
GPA: 95% (we only get percentages). Top 3% in a graduating class of around 650 students (only around 30 in full IB). Our averages don't get weighted for being in IB.
I'm taking the bilingual IB diploma, with English, History (in French), and Chem as my HL's. I'm finishing Math Methods (in French) and Bio SL this year (just wrote my exams actually). My other subject is French A2 SL. If I keep it up, I should be able to get 40+ on the diploma.
SAT: haven't taken it yet, but PSAT was around 215.
EC's:
-Violin, Orchestra (Viola), Fiddle group, Flute, Band, Choir, Music Theory... (a lot of music)
-Field Hockey (school team - we came in second at city finals last year. I'll be playing indoor with Alberta next fall as well)
-Volunteering: Student's Union events, Greek Festival, Heritage Park, Youthweek 2005 Ambassador
-Model UN: only grade 10 delegate on the SSUNS 2003 trip (recieved an honorable mention), attended both SSUNS and Harvard Model Congress Europe (in Paris!) in 2004-2005 (recieved a Harvard Award of Excellence for representing the UK on the Group of Eight). I also attend weekly International Politics classes outside the timetable.
-Amnesty Club (at school): founder/core member
Yeah...
have fun in senior year everyone!
(Isn't it freaky to be almost done?!) |
