For the HKU application - does ANYONE know the word limit for the personal statement? And when they ask for a two-page summary of your activities and achievements, can I just send in a CV/Resume?

Hi, I'm an international Student applied to HKU and HKUST for ug-engineering this year.
I have SAT - 2070 [R: 680, W: 660, M:730]
and SAT2 - 2300 [Math Level II: 750, Chem:780, Phy:770]
Any chance for me?
Also, I sent the unofficial reports during the application. Is it okay, or am I supposed to send official reports?
@dubyawhy
I don't think there's a word limit and I too sent my CV for summary of activities.

I just emailed HKU and they said:
"The word limit in the online application is 4000 alphabetical characters"

That's an awfully large word limit. I was thinking of sending a statement of 1000 words max. How many of you applied Early decision? I'm planning to apply regular decision. My SATs and subject tests are near awful(SAT I- 2020, ML2-790, Phy-760, Chem-730) and TOEFL iBT is 105(R-29, W-28, L-28, S-20(I know that's awful)). Expected graduating percentage (>90%).
Decent extra-curriculars and reccomendations. How likely am I to get selected?
Also, does anybody has an idea of international applicant pool for UST, HKU, and CUHK?

^dude...
it says "characters" not "words". 4000 characters is more like 400 words.

Hi I'm a local non-jupas student applying for HKU for quantitative finance or economics&finance.
My highest SAT was 2110 (Reading 630, Writing 690, Math 790), SAT 2 (Math II-780, Math I-730, Bio-620), Toefl iBT 114, 5 on AP Calculus BC, and 4 on AP English Language.
Any chance for me to get selected into Quantitative Finance? I heard it's pretty competitive.
Also, how important is the second language requirement (in a language other than english)? I'm pretty bad at chinese so AP chinese sounds pretty challenging to me. I also missed the opportunity to take the SAT chinese language test. I can't take the HSK because I'm a local Hong Konger. What other tests can I take to meet this requirement?

^ in at E&F. I hear that course is horribly easy to get into.
2nd Lang requirement is a >requirement< so I'm guessing not meeting it is bad. Since you're a local HKer...I guess you speak Cantonese, so wouldn't that fulfill it?

Math HL-7
English SL-6
Hindi HL-7
Economics SL-7
Physics HL- 6
Chemistry HL-6

I have applied for both HKUST and HKU early decision for engineering as my first choice, economics as my second and business management as third in HKU and engineering as my first choice and business management as my second in HKUST.
Apart from that I have work experience from Mahindra World City, and a few other certificates of voluntary work and community service. Also I am the head of Entrepreneur Club and I think my referee has given good recommendation about me. I am giving TOEFL in December, I don't know how much I will score but lets see. I want to know what are my chances of getting in these universities.
