And, to find out your GPA consult your Guidance Counselor. Different schools have different systems.

Pushpa, actually, even in our college we dont have a GC. It is just that our English Teacher writes it on the behalf of GC post. Similaerly, many students write their own recommendations and get it verified by the teachers, if the teachers are not articulate enough in English. so it doesnot really matter, whom you ask to write. But be sure, U wanna get an impressive recommendation.

ccprofile and pushpa, different colleges have different ways of determining their GPA. Best would be to ask your college authorities. In my college, they consider the grades of best threee subjects, if its AAA its 4.0 if its AAB its 3.75 and so on. Also, % wise they use certain threshols out of which they either first convert it into grades and evaluate GPA or calculate it directly. you may wannna google your question as well.

IMO vocab from Barrons is an overkill. You really don't need to know all of those 3500 words. Go for something more shorter and manageable. I tried Direct hits and it was helpful.
In my case I'll be going through the 1000 words in sparknotes. For Math just do the practice tests and don't forget to recheck you answers in the end. For writing, practice, practice and more practice.
