@KRB yea just dropped in to see whats going on and its good to see that there already is a "class of 2014 from Nepal" thread.

@everyone: Folks, just like KRB told don't wait until last moment when you get rejected by all the colleges in your list. Apply for safety as soon as possible, at least that's the lesson we did learn through our application process.

@ ppl interested in Spiny Babbler
You might wanna join soon cause they need you to work about 6 months before they write you a letter of recommendation. There isn't any kind of selection process so all you need to do is ask. You don't need to research much. Just go check out the place on a fine Saturday morning and decide if you wanna volunteer. It was also great that I met a lot of other students applying to colleges in the US so we could discuss everything once a week (not that the administration was very happy about it....). Go visit it. A little further up from IOE and you'll see the sign board that'll direct you to the place. Here's the site for the Arts Club
Arts Club: Education Focus: Arts Programs, Education, International Involvement: Spiny Babbler Museum

Yes, I'm their official advocate for CC. Lol.

@pushpakamal
i think that ED is not binding when you cannot afford the college. You can ask the college to consider aid again.....if not...then consider your application for RD

@Duke99

You shud just go talk to them. You don't need to know anyone.Ppl are really friendly there and they'll be happy to see you!

@Pushpa

I'm not sure about the online version. It's better and more reliable to just go talk to them.

And yes, you can turn down an ED acceptance if you can't afford it.

@ Pushpa, I hope you got your answer, plus what I meant was that even if you apply to ED, you can still aplly to EA colleges which have non binding agreements so tht you can turn to them if you get rejected at ED.
