aaron56, my GCE A-Level subjects were Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Erm.. My board is Singapore-Cambridge GCE... I don't think we're the only ones with A1s and A2s for GCE O-Levels... the Britons also have A1s and A2s I think... FYI... UMich-Ann Arbor accepts A LOT of ppl from Singapore... you don't want to imagine the numbers... and getting straight As from O to A Levels is also considered the norm in my country...

Havaldaar, my SAT I score is considered extremely mediocre in my country, honestly speaking... and I wasn't surprised at all to be rejected by Cornell since they group internationals from a country in one pool before evaluating them... I wouldn't be surprised if I was near the bottom of the pile... Haha...

ynos: we have A1s(or AS) and A2s only in A-levels. I had the IGCSE instead of GCE 'O' levels so I don't really know about it. They use GCSEs in UK too instead of O levels now I think.

gvx: do internationals get aid at UC-Berkeley?
