anyb from Moldova?

what are the chances to get a full need aid for a moldovan student?

i'm sure there're few of those, who know what's Moldova. It's the poorest country in Europe aaaand it's in Eastern Europe, a part of former Soviet Union, you know =)

I think there are not many students from Moldavia, though there are quite a lot of them from Bulgaria (dunno why). I hope that being from a country that sends few students to US might be a slight advantage (especiall over students from Asia).

D'oh, my bad. It's "Moldávie" in Czech and I presumed it to be "Moldavia" in English... Dunno the name in "Moldavian" (?), but I guess it's slomething similar like Moldova or something...

Cermi, nope, it's right to say both, as i know.
However, it's more intelligent to say "Moldavia', but in my ID is "Republic of Moldova", so... =)))

Hey ,I am from Bulgaria and we really send a lot of students to top US and UK schools.
Last year ,17 Bulgarians got into Oxford ,and this year I know at least 15 who have the potential to go into HYPS.Bulgarian students have some advantages over the other poor countries in Europe.First ,we are part of NATO and ECC (I think this should mean something).Second,we were NOT part of the ex USSR ,though,we still had communistic regime).
My question is ,as almost 100% of the international students require full FA'' If I can pay about ,lets say 30 000 $ per year'' ,does this give me some advantage ?

@Adversa,Sheriff does wonders this season

I will probably choose to go to the UK or stay in the American University in Bulgaria and then go to the USA as a graduate student ..
