BYU has an excellent academic reputation, and the price is relatively low. However, the community does have a particular religious orientation that is not for everyone. Think very carefully about how you might deal with being the only non-LDS student in your classes and residence hall.

I'm a current student at Brigham Young University and NOT a Mormon! To be honest, I absolutely love it here. Almost all my friends, professors, and everyone else on campus is a Mormon! Still, I really like it here.

I don't think there's any other private university with such an awesome reputation which costs so less. But at the same time, I think the most important thing is to be sure of what BYU is like, I mean it is different from any other US college/university.

Bottom line: If you wanna attend a good university which costs so less, and you're not narrow-minded and respect people with other religious beliefs, you'd be fine here!
