@TFACLE Thanks for the info! I wasn't sure what to put in for Dallas but I finally got it to work.
At this point,I'd be honored to be accepted. Having to interview with principals would just be a drop in the bucket.

I did not realize that the first deadline find out their decisions on the same date as the second deadline. WOW - they are busy. I also found out that if you completed your TF after your interview, they said the only status you will see for the meantime is " Under Review" which makes sense in my case. And one more thing, the next deadline people have to wait for an ENTIRE months to find out their decisions and even more over CHRISTMAS BREAK. Wow

Can you imagine having to wait over a month to find out? I'd be going crazy! It's been just over a week and I can hardly stand it. Trying to keep busy this weekend/week!

Hey guys,
This is actually the exact question that I asked at my final interview and I actually knew about the additional interviewing before my final interview... but I honestly can't remember where I found the information, I don't think it was on the TFA website.
I asked my interviewers if the interviewing with principals is a really stressful process or if things usually work out well...
It sounds like TFA does ALL of the planning for you, literally... you just have to show up at the interviews with the principals... sometimes they even bring all the principals into one place and you just go from one to the other interviewing with them....
On this week's webinar, they said it is incredibly rare that someone does not get offered a position, and it makes sense if you think about it- TFA does so much work to only give placements to people in a region for the number of guaranteed spots they have.. this way no one is left out of a spot in a school.
they also said there is a ton of professional development interview stuff.... like creating your resume, mock interviews, etc. before hand to ensure that you do well at the interviews.... my interviewers made it sound like it wasn't really that big of a deal and things seem to work out fine...
also... look how many people have been successful with TFA ! clearly, if that many people can get a job with a principal, we can too haha.

Guys, I wouldn't worry about interviewing with the principals; I have known quite a few former corps members and they have said this is one of the least stressful of the steps.
I am more concerned how institute will go. I know every year they have quite a few people drop out during institute because it was too hard for them.

I'm not worried at all about interviewing with principals. If you can make it through the admissions process, you obviously have what it takes. Give yourselves some credit! You are all highly capable, effective, and passionate people. Just like you'd tell your own students "YOU CAN DO THIS!"
Just hang in there until Thurs, and what's meant to be will be.

@ MinorityDreamer
Thanks! I've been very up and down in terms of my feelings about my chances of being accepted. One day I feel like it's in the bag, and the next I feel very inferior. So, I keep telling myself that over and over Lol. Either way it turns out I will be a teacher. I mean, that's what I'm going to school for. I just really want to work for TFA. We'll all figure it out in the end.

@ TFACLE
So I have a question about the timelines that you found. Since we are being notified this early, I wonder if our onboarding work will start immediately after we confirm our acceptance?? Thats what those documents made it sound like. Or.... would it start in the spring like the last few deadlines? I'm just wondering, and if you don't know, that's ok. I'm just trying to figure out when all of the work would start.
