Hey, guys!
Last week, my TF status suddenly changed to "Under Review" after having been listed as "Complete"a few days after my final interview. As of yesterday, it's back up to "Complete," though. Like the rest of you, I have no idea if this really tells us anything at all; we're all hard-pressed to find something to give us some sort of indication of our status before November 1, so we keep obsessing! We're closing in on those final hours now, though
As far as leadership positions go, I was Editor-in-Chief of my campus' literary journal, led English classes at a local resource center, have held a mini-management position at a local grocery store for several years, and I've been involved as a mentor at an elementary school nearby. My undergrad academic record is fantastic, so I hope that demonstrates some degree of leadership as well--leadership within the classroom, I say!
How's everyone feeling as the days wind down? Personally, I'm incredibly anxious! I've been offered a position with City Year, though, so if I don't get TFA, I'll be totally pumped to start my year of service with them
