I feel the same way ! I actually am in Texas so I'll be interviewing in the Dallas area.

You have any idea what subject you'll be teaching for your lesson plan. I'm thinking of doing a conjugation lesson in Spanish.

When I had my final interview last year, I made alot of mistakes. Besides timing and logistics, they really like engaging lessons with the class, and for the concept to be grasped by the end of the lesson. And also make sure you work well Within your groups.

The final interview just seems way too intense to me. Not having had experienced it before I'm just really nervous about it.

Hey! I thought I would join this board- I applied at the first application deadline too and was asked for a final interview.

The anticipation is killing me! I wish I could just get it over with and find out if I'm accepted or not!

What are you thinking about placing for your regions/grade levels/subjects?

Oh nice! Do you know what day your interview will be, and i am still trying to figure out what i want to do! I have ideas though

Ahh yes i feel the same!! I am really open to any region. My top choice is Memphis though, what about you?

Yeah, I am pretty open as well! Honestly, I don't know what my top choice is... I have a lot of deciding to do...I'm from Chicago, but I'm looking to move away from home and try something new. Right now, I'm gearing towards the east coast or the south.

Really? I am from the east coast, and i really want to go to the South! I am from Philly, but would love to move somewhere else! Do you go to school in Chicago?

That's so funny- Philly is one of the places I'm considering haha! But I've honestly picked a bunch of spots that are scattered throughout the US... it would be fun to try something new!

And yeah I go the University of Illinois-Chicago. How about you ?

Hi Guys,
Notified today that I was invited to the final round. Do any of you know how the acceptance rates compare for candidates who are directly invited to the final round as opposed to the candidates who are not? I feel like there's more pressure on candidates who are invited to the final round directly

What should I expect from the online activity? Is it intense?

How have you been researching for your guys' regions? Is there a website any of you would recommend that indicates which regions are the most supportive and which subjects are in most demand for that region?

I have been a regular lurker on this TFA 2013 corps forum, but just never posted. I actually registered for the 1DL and have been invited to a phone interview. It feels like I am the only one in this message board that didn't get an automatic final interview invite. So, I am extremely nervous in this aspect as I do not know how it will turn out.
And, it seems like the majority has been invited to a final interview.

agggh! here's to hoping I get on the same wagon as most of you are. and, congrats!

I applied 2DL and just had my phone interview tonight (so I know how you feel, iTeach). Just thought I would say hey!

I really hope to make it to the final interview, but it sounds really intense..

@HTown207: Hey! It's great to know I am not the only one doing phone interview. I have just completed my phone interview and I continue the waiting game. My phone interview went okay and I was expecting more situational questions. How was yours?
