Congrats man. I'm a freshman as well, and I've been a bit slow on the whole applying for internships thing.. I've only sent out a handful a few months ago.

If you wouldn't mind PM-ing me what you said in the e-mail/cover letter... well, I'd really appreciate it. I'm slightly lost. =/

I hope I'm not too late on the bandwagon but it's great to hear that as a freshman you're getting internships by cold-calling.

I'm also a freshman at a top 20 undergrad business school (according to businessweek) and currently awaiting an interview for merrill lynch internship but can I also get a PM of your cover letter? Or what you said in the email? And maybe I can send you what I used, although I went through my career services. thanks in advance

Internships

Hello HappyCosmos

I hope you are not getting annoyed by people asking about your internship, but I have just read the talks and if you wouldn't mind, sending me your enquiries, CV, or CL that you sent out to the firms I would truly appreciate it.

Thanks a whole bunch.

Hey...

I just got an internship at a law firm. Will that help or add value to my CV even if i'm not pursuing a LLB in future? ? I want to be an I banker.

Hey, congrats! Hope you enjoy your time there!

Jumping on the bandwagon - I've kinda always had my internships set up for me, so could you also PM me a sample inquiry, a CL and/or CV?
Email at masterking@gmail.com will also be great. Thanks a lot!

hey congrats!! would you mind emailing me a copy of ur cover letter? I'm trying to find something to do over the summer and better a HF internship than working at some BS counselor job at a summer program.

My email is albertchoi@nyu.edu

I'm trying to work a couple years as a F500 analyst or an Ibanking or Corporate Banking analyst before going to law school and becoming a corporate lawyer...although I should probably talk to my career services center first about getting internships. Highly probable I won't get one because I'm a freshman, but at least worth a try. If not, then I'll take a summer course so I can graduate early....2 credits short of being a full year ahead.

To all aspiring hedge fund interns, here's Jim Cramer's take on Market Manipulations:

YouTube - Jim Cramer on Market Manipulation

Is this what you really want to do for your whole life?
