SUMMER- Orlando Sentinel Internship vs. UCSD Journalism program

I just moved to Florida in August 2006 from California and I am dying to go to a UC school for college. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA and I get my SAT scores soon. I'm not a strong test taker.. as I got a 1750 on my PSATs.

The PROBLEM- I got accepted into UCSD's summer program, and because I am very interested in journalism I applied to take a journalism course there for three weeks worth college credits. However, I just found out I also got accepted for a summer internship at the Orlando Sentinel newspaper. I have to choose one because I can't do both. I have to choose by this TUESDAY!

You should know that the UCSD program will help me with getting into a UC school being out of state.. but this internship is amazing!

NEED HELP!!! I'm so torn!!

THANKS!!!!

Also.. the summer program at UCSD costs $3,000 (excluding airfare). The internship is free and I do not get paid. The Sentinel is also very close to where I live.

Any ideas on which one to do?
