I don't think this is true at all
There are less positions to fill and some companies only have their entering class in July. If I graduate in spring, I have two full semesters (fall & spring semesters) to search for jobs.
I'm graduating this semester, been searching for jobs, having a really difficult time to get any offers. I expected it to be a lot easier than this.
i agree with rlstar although counselors said what UCSDowns basically said. I'm an engineer and considering most of the engineering companies these days are hiring for LDP primarily which really doesn't depend on your availability or demand of the company, graduating on fall doesn't really play out any advantages...
I mean, basically they are currently not looking for anyone graduating on fall to fill any of their blank positions quickly from what i've seen so far.
