Discovery Channel

Does anyone know anything about internships and careers at the Discovery Channel?

What aspect of the Discovery Channel are you referring to? I actually used to work at one of their stores, so with a little more information as to what you're looking for, I may be able to help you out.

I know the company recently -- as of this past summer, I believe -- hired a new president who decided to get do away with the physical stores. So if it's a basic retail position you're looking for, that obviously wouldn't work. haha But it seems more like you want something in Home Office -- is that right?

Hmm... I'm afraid I don't really know much about the programming portion. The customer service line is 1-800-889-9950 and their hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. They're usually pretty helpful and may be able to point you in the right direction.

You could also try going here: Customer Service : Contact Us -- Discovery Channel Store

Under Employment, you should see "television programming" in bold. If you click on the "Viewer Relations" link, you may get some more information. (You have to fill out a form in order to continue, so I'm not exactly sure what would come up.)

Good luck!
