high school senior interns

i was just wondering if any of you have had internships the summer you graduated high school. if so, what kinds of things did you do? i am really interested in getting an internship this summer, hopefully in the business field. i dont mind my part time job now but ill probly be sick of it and it would be nice to get an early start on some good resume credentials. thanks.

I had one but I only got it through family connections. I know a few others that had internships that summer as well, but only through the parents of friends or also family -- without college classes there isn't much you can offer a company in the way of service without training.

By all means try, but line up a job that you would enjoy in case nothing works out.
