| Language PhDs for uses other than university teaching. So I have a question.
If someone hold a PhD in something like East Asian Languages, or some other foreign languages in general, and they are fluent in multiple (like if one were to be fluent in Japanese and Chinese), do private businesses, or bureaucratic agencies like the CIA, FBI, and Dept. of state, hire teachers to teach their employees how to speak languages?
Basically, I know economics consulting seems to be a pretty big thing that interested corporations look for, but are similar mentoring/teaching jobs in businesses sought after too/ |
