Difficulties seeking employment

As a high school senior, I am currently applying to internships. However, most the people I've emailed said that they have no room or are not seeking interns.

Is it more difficult for a high school senior to get an internship? I have been breaking my back trying to find an internship and been told that the people are only seeking interns from previous year or full, or occasionally told that they will review my resume.

I emailed about 25 people and have gotten 5 maybe 6 replies saying that they will review and 7-8 saying that they are full...Job hunting is so tough

Forget "internships". That's a fancy word for "we want you to work for free". Wait until April, then go look for a summer job.

what job are you seeking? if it's something more prestigious where you are competing with college students i would say you're wasting your time.

if i were you, getting a job that pays is more important than experience. you still have 4 more years to get experience once your in college and at that time, it should be easier to get into your field.
