did anyone start the almaris training yet?

I noticed we only get 3 attempts...did anyone not get 80% in 4 tries?

What happens after you are accepted?

I have already gotten the acceptance email, an email reminding me to update my apps. with partner firms, an email requiring me to update my resume, and an email requiring me to confirm that I can start training in May.

What happens next?

Thanks!

What type of background would SEO consider to be a "better fit" for Corporate Finance vs. Sales and Trading? I've read earlier posts where people were switched from one to the other.

sandmanpat. Youre placed in the group you applied for. Read the posts, the switch from CF to S&T was a special situation where someone had gotten an offer JPM S&T offer outside SEO. S/he was accepted into the CF SEO, then the switch to JPM S&T happened.

Dell123: all the same here.

"email requiring me to confirm that I can start training in May."

I don't remember getting this. When did they send this out?

It was just a simple email requiring one to write back and confirm you could start in May.

I was told I was a better fit for a rotational program in CF, S+T, and Research.

I guess I could narrow down my placements to JPMorgan, Citigroup, and Lehman Bros then?

I never got an email asking me to confirm if I can start training in May?

Any ideas?

For those who applied to NYU housing: Did everyone receive information about whether they got it, waitlist, or rejected. Or have they just announced who got it. I haven't received anything from them, but my 4k check has been charged and my application status online still says processing. Or do they do the annonucements in stages?

Thanks for the info financegeek

Anyone else in my situation: I applied just a week after they were receiving applications. I have haven't received a positive or negative result yet. And when I check the status online it says, "Your payment has been confirmed and your application is awaiting processing. Check back soon for more information."

I would really like to know if I m rejected or waitlisted so I can start looking at other options. Financegeek do you mind PM me the building you ll be living at, it might be a good option for me? Thanks in advance!

Questions for finance geek:
Did NYU waitlist you or flat out reject?
How many choices did you put on the application and did you restrict it to the ones you listed?
When did you submit your application? I submitted mine on 2/10 and listed 3 choices only--I'm worried. Glad you found something else, where will you be living?
