I found a posting on the NYU housing site where housing administrators posted that the applications are not processed in exact chronological order!

I'm not sure how they make their decisions.

NYU Housing

I got flat out rejected!! I had sent out my application on February 19, I applied with a friend and we requested to be roommates, we had listed 3 options: all the three apartment buildings on Union Square. If you haven't received anything yet you should call maybe.. at least that's what I would do... I found the Webster Apartments, on 34th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. It's only 240/week including 2 meals, single room!! It's only for girls, however.
About the JP Morgan/Bear deal... Fortunately, Bear was not a sponsoring company with SEO. So we are ok!! But it's sad, I have at least 3 friends who had just signed contracts with them a few weeks ago... they might be out of jobs now..

yeah, i stand corrected. this still can't bode well for those of us just getting into the industry. it seems like there are going to be a ton of really smart people looking for jobs pretty soon....

I just got the email about roommates. It mentioned that some interns will work in CT or NJ: does this apply to the I-banks?

http://www.seo-usa.org/career/OnlineTraining.pdf

On here, it says deadline is March 30th for Corporate Finance interns, but when I log on Almaris it gives a deadline in May.. I'm assuming it's in March?
