| To answer financegeek's question on the other SEO thread regarding placement: A SEO summer 2006 friend told me she heard back regarding firm placement around 4/4/06. So we are still looking at a long wait. Of course a good estimation could be to find when the last SEO intern's "preplacement online training" is due. My is due Feb 18th, anyone later????
The training did take some time.

| around 15 hours. It was really not that bad, I mean this is what interests me and sure beats russian literature anytime.
I wouldn't worry about offical placement until at least the 20th then. |

| Financegeek - From a friend, It's supposed to be secret. As far as what's out in the public, a panel gets together and argues your placement back and forth. They decide on your background, and your personality. They also take into consideration any outstanding offers you have and whether you want more of the same (ex: full-service investment bank) or something different (universal investment bank).
I would guess its a 1/12 chance though. I figure SEO would not want their best to be loaded at places like GS, MS, ML etc while their weaker interns with BofA etc. We will just have to wait |
