Internship for Graduating High School Seniors Please

Anyone know any good ones or ones that are easy to get into for the summer time? I tried googling them, but that did not help much. Thanks a lot.

Most formal internship programs are for college students, and they often look for sophomores or juniors.

You are probably better off trying to find your own, either by taking a real job or perhaps volunteering to work for free in a company or organization related to your planned field of interest.

Sometimes, a little creativity can net a position that will actually help you when you later apply for real internships or part-time work. Good luck.

I would really, really recommend getting a real, paying job the summer after senior year. I think it's a GREAT opportunity to take a job in a restaurant, store or office and work 8 hour days. It will demonstrate that you can hold down a tough, steady job, and make you more "employable" later on.

I spent last summer (after I graduated HS) working in an office and in assembly, busting my butt for my $10/hour haha! It wasn't the most fun, but it was amazing experience (plus I earned spending money for college) and this summer I have an awesome internship that is not only cool but pays!

There's no shame in a typical high school job -- working as a waiter/waitress, cashier, salesperson or coffee b**ch is great experience!
