range of jobs you could get with (insert any degree here)?

mainly im wondering what the range of possible jobs one could get with *degree of something* is. im currently heading towards a BFA in architecture, not because i love architecture, but because i know i wont hate it. and im wondering if for example, someone had a degree in this, could they land a job in design? illustration? art teacher? are they limited to just what they have a degree in? whats the range? what does it depend on? any input would be helpful - thanks

Well I go to Parsons, and your first year there, you have the foundation, so all the BFA's have the same basic ground as any other design major, so in a sense with a BFA in architecture, I don't think it would limit you with just architecture assuming you know how to use other programs such as photoshop, illustrator, indesign and such (?) so i think different opportunities do arise, and along with internships - you could have a BFA in architecture but hit an internship say for marketing at a magazine .. so yeah, nothing is set in stone per se unless you want it that way.
