How bad is graduating college w/o an internship?

How big of a hurdle is this to overcome? What about when you degree in something like Econ or Finance as opposed to History or English.

@ heidfeldfan

It is not the end of the world if you did not complete an internship during college. However, it will put you at a disadvantage against someone who has internships or work experience in the field. If you have work experience (a job during the school year or local job during the summer), highlight that in addition to your undergraduate coursework. Include your high school activities and awards too. Market yourself.

Is there any % out there of graduates with internship or co-op experience after having graduated? Like any statistics, pie charts, etc?

It's awful, makes them wonder what the hell you've been doing all this time.
