Does anyone know anything about this? I attended a recruiting session at my college earlier this year and completed an IBank style interview (I think so anyways...there were lots of brainteasers... all the other internships I applied to are with non-profits...so I'm not very familiar with corporate recruiting), and today I received an acceptance. This is pretty much the most unexpected accomplishment of my life. They say they are paying my full airfare to India and my living expenses while there, in addition to giving me a stipend. I really just applied on a whim because all they wanted was a resume and transcript. They didn't even ask for a cover letter. Online it says that over 12,000 people applied for 175 spots. I guess I would primarily like to know if this program is legitimate. If so, has anyone ever been accidentally accepted to it? I'm not sure I my experiences fully match the on-line description of the person they are seeking to complete the project for which I have been accepted. My interviewer frequently referred to my "extensive research background," something I'm not really sure that I have. Is there a non-awkward way to ask human resources to check their records to see if I am the person they originally hoped to interview and that my acceptance was not just due to an accidental reshuffling of applications.

I dunno whether this is a scam or not but I'd definatley say that Infosys is a top firm in India and its like the Microsoft of India so if you did get in, congratulations!
