Auditing Internship

I was offered a full-time auditing internship for this summer. I'm a Junior in college and I was wondering would this be a step in the right direction if my ultimate goal is to work in something like corporate finance?

any internship experience is a step in the right direction. many people don't have internship experience so if you do then it'll be a bonus for you. my guess is that you haven't received any other offers so if that's the case take the auditing internship (it beats a cashier job right). and who knows, maybe you'll start to enjoy auditing and want to do auditing when you graduate. you never know and thus doing this internship can't hurt (it can only help you because you're gaining experience other people aren't).
