Other than I-Banking

I've been reading lately of other industries is there to Corporate/Public finance apart from IB. What about Investment management, S&T, or consultant. I want to work in Wall street, however I'm more people-oriented; I want to assist the people because whatever happens in our economy effect them the most (could care less about the company) so what Wall Street job offers this?
