So while I was looking for summer internships I came across a program called L.A.U.N.C.H or something like that at Kaiser...
It seems like a really interesting internship oppurtunity because it's at a hospital and interns get paid for it. However, I was unable to uncover a whole lot about the program because the website for LAUNCH talked about a program called "Inroads" which is for college students but I thought there was a program for high schools students...
I was wondering if anyone on CC has ever done this program? Is it only for minorities? What kind of experience should someone expect from it?
Also, are there any other paid internships that a junior in high school that wants to a pursue a career in the sciences apply to?
