Nike summer Internship?

Anyone have info on or experience with this program? D1 is interested in gathering more info or tips regarding this program.

THE SCOOP

Nike is drenched in competition and personal potential with its mission “to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete (and if you have a body, you are an athlete) in the world.” The company hit the scene in 1964, started by former track coach Bill Bowerman and track runner/accounting student Phil Knight. Today, Nike is the largest sports equipment company in the world, with almost $10 billion in revenue. To keep it running smoothly, Nike employs 20,000 people worldwide. Its headquarters, dubbed the “Nike World Campus,” sits on a 175acre environmentally conscious haven for work and play.

ON THE JOB

Interns work in apparel, communications, contract manufacturing, customer service, design and development, equipment, finance, human resources, information technology, legal, logistics, marketing, marketing communications, public affairs, research, retail, sales and technology. Responsibilities vary with department placement.

Hey, thanks for posting that info. But is there anyone here who has actually had one of these internships? Known anyone who has worked there???

i work for nike and we have some reading on the internship...it basically says the same thing that the vault website says. im sure its a valuable experience, my managers went to beaverton a while back and everyone in corporate is apparently great and innovative.
