Business internships

anyone know any good internships i can do as a high school student? I get good grades and have a lot of free time. Fencing season just ended and i want to do a good internship. Anyone know any distinguished (or even not so distinguished) companies that allow internships OR volunteer work from high school students?

I live in NYC.

Thank you.

There's a program called developmental school for the youth(DSY). It is for underprivileged youth in NYC. If you aren't poor, then find a girlfriend whose father is an MD at a hedgefund.

Sorry for being so blunt, but there are not very many business related internships. I suggest that you hone your MS Office skills and continue your search. The best thing that you can do is network. Rotary clubs would be the best place to start.

Simple tip when networking with experienced professionals, don't act like you know it all and be confident at using lingo from the field you're interested in.
