Hi everyone. Would anyone happen to have any suggestions for writing a personal statement for a summer internship? (Bio/chem) Is it basically like writing a personal essay for college admissions, or is there some standard form for it?
Also, does it make sense to include information about one's own background (in this case, immigrant, 1st generation college student, etc.)? Can that sort of information be a determinant in being chosen?
