The Office of Presidential Correspondence is one of the offices that takes interns from the White House Internship Program. It has a separate volunteer program to accommodate the massive volume of mail, emails, and calls from the public. While the interns and volunteers may work together and perform similar tasks, the interns alone benefit from the Speaker Series and other internship program opportunities. They also have a more extensive application and vetting process.
