AJFXW- OH MY GOSH. If they seriously kept us waiting til Monday I think we'd all go off the deep end. I can see new psych textbooks now: "White House Intern Prospect Disorder- characterized by long bouts of anxiety punctuated with deep feelings of sadness and/or anger."

Our day of reckoning is soon to arrive...

PS. Putin, that song is stuck in my head now. UGH!

ok now that I've caught up with reading:

obviously did not recieve anything today, unfortunately will probably be a little behind on the uptake tomorrow, so I'll let you guys now the second I check my email and get news, although it may not be *instantaneously* after I hear yes/no

Also I talked to a reference today (not about this) but if he has been contacted he didn't say so, although he seemed confident I would get the internship, then again he always thinks positive so I don't think he's been contacted But he's a good morale booster

OK I'm going to bed because I have to repack tomorrow at 7am to drive to another campus

i think i know somebody who got the White House Internship...

wait before you get too excited...

i saw an article about Kal Penn (Kumar) who was described not as getting a job at the White House, but as an Intern...also, i remember an interview he had where he said he would be working in the Eisenhower Building....hmmm, makes sense....so he has taken One spot up already

i want one! though i don't actually have the energy to demand one or throw a tantrum.

you forgot to include usual bonding between others with White House Intern Prospect Disorder and the feeling of being in a neverending cycle

On the bright side I think White House Intern Prospect Disorder (WHIPD) ... ha, whipped, sorry, ok back to what I was saying... I think it has caused me to get in shape quicker... I've been exercising to take my mind off of the waiting...

Although... I haven't been this sore in a loooonnnngggg time. Every time I move: ouch! haha
