Just got that myself. For all curious, I haven't heard anything following my phone interview. And for the earlier questions, I'd rather not disclose too much about myself until after the entire process is over, but I'll say that I'm a rising junior at an ivy league school, majoring in the humanities with some internship experience at an advocacy organization.

Earlier today, I got a call from one of the departments I ranked on my application, having not received any indication that I would hear from them before that. We spoke for about ten minutes--I was asked basic questions about my interests, job experience, some of the hobbies I listed on my app. Anyway, they told me that all offers will go through the internship office, so I don't expect that we are going to hear back from any of the departments directly, and I don't think you should be too worried that you haven't heard back from the communications office. Seems like we'll have to wait until July 6!

What office did you hear from? I'm still hoping that because mine was obscure, I might get it without an interview...

i have been glossing over this site since the first cycle: when everyone was applying for the summer session. i learned what to expect and i decided to apply for fall.

i initially received a confirmation email that they received my application. A few weeks later, I came to check CC and saw that people were receiving emails indicating that they would be calling for interviews. i assumed i didn't get it (i was bummed! lol) and moved on with life.

all of a sudden, i got an interview call this past week. the interviewer told me there were a batch of people who never received the "we're going to call you for an interview" email.

i KNOW that there are several other people out there who are lurking this site like i did. come out the woodworks! lol. it helps to know that there are others out there as anxious as i am

So I got the interview email a few weeks ago, but still haven't heard anything from any department. Are others in the same boat? Any more word from any departments today?

i never got an email for an interview. i am assuming i am not in the running. i haven't heard anything since the "week of July 6th" email.

I haven't heard anything since my interview two weeks ago. But my interviewer did tell me that we should expect to hear "on July 7"--which would be tomorrow. So even though the email says this week, I am hoping we will all hear something tomorrow.

The interesting thing is I think several people got the "potential interview" email but were never interviewed--is that right? If so, I think the big question looming out there is whether these people are still being considered or whether an interview is a prerequisite for getting the job.

Since each interview is being handled by each specific department, it sounds like it could be possible for people to get the job without an interview. Plus, I think there are others out there who got an interview without first getting the "potential interview" email.

So basically, we have no idea what's going on

A very reliable source told me that they have already chosen the next internship class...it's all a matter of what day they decide they want to tell us.

Given that they have completed the selection process, I'm hoping for tomorrow. *pins and needles*

I'm in the same boat as anydaynow, so I am expecting nothing more than a rejection. I just want to get my rejection letter already! But I really hope I am wrong about what my instincts are telling me. Good luck!

Holy ****. So that call I just got might actually have been for the Internship. It just JUST occured to me that this was possible. I only re-applied in Fall semester because I wanted to have my hat in the ring just in case. I was expecting calls for a million other things, but not that.

I was about two seconds away from accusing the guy on the other end of the phone of being a friend of mine playing a trick.

But I decided to play along. After I hung up I realized that it was way too early in the morning for him...

So I guess I have an interview..?
